During an episode of his SiriusXM radio show Jeff Lewis Live in December 2021, Jeff Lewis discussed how his actions affected his daughter, Monroe Christine Lewis.
The radio host revealed that a private school rejected his five-year-old daughter Monroe, whom he shared with his ex Gage Edward.
Although he did not state it explicitly, he had faced significant backlash since his “superspreader” holiday party.
The party was held at Lea Black’s home and guests included his co-host, Megan Weaver, his assistant Shane Douglas, and Shahs of Sunset star Mercedes Javid Feight.

Lewis stated that they had taken precautions and ensured that everyone was vaccinated, but despite this, the majority of them contracted covid.
But he had no regrets and stated, “That was a spectacular party. It was almost worth dying for.”
On the show, he expressed concern that the criticism would have an impact on the other “four or five” private school applications.
He stated that one of the schools had already responded, stating that they were not interested in his Monroe because they were aware of his identity.
Jeff Lewis’ Daughter Was Dissatisfied With Him
Lewis discussed another incident on his radio show a few weeks later.
He recalled an emotional conversation he had with his child, during which she threatened not to speak to him again until she is “an adult.”
Monroe was upset with him, according to the former Flipping Out star, after she discovered that he had told his listeners about her rejection from a private school.
Before the situation deteriorated further, Lewis clarified that he never implied Monroe’s rejection was related to the party, as she had been rejected prior to the party.
He went on to say that his ex, who was upset about the rejection, had told their child that if she didn’t get into private schools, she might have to attend Catholic school with nuns.
“So she called me crying, and she was furious. I didn’t expect her to say this so young, but she said if I keep talking about her, she won’t see me again until she’s an adult “Lewis agreed.
Following the phone call, Lewis texted his ex, warning him not to turn Monroe against him and use her to vent his rage on him.
Jeff Lewis was responded to by Gage Edward.
Edward immediately responded to Lewis’ remarks. He took to Instagram to accuse the radio host of “leveraging” their daughter in order to gain more attention for his radio show.
Edward pointed out that Lewis had spread false and untrue stories about Monroe, implying that it was a calculated ploy to garner more media attention.
“However, the person you are leveraging is five years old. It’s revolting. She is entitled to privacy. Enough already, “He continued.
Monroe was born through surrogacy in October 2016 after previous adoption attempts had failed.
Unfortunately, the couple divorced in 2019, resulting in a contentious custody battle that lasted over two years.
Us Weekly reported in May 2021 that the couple had dropped their lawsuits against each other and agreed to share custody of their daughter.
Lewis told the outlet that he and his ex were getting along great for Monroe’s sake.
