For three years, Jeff Wittek and Cierra Ramirez were wed
Early in 2015, Wittek and Ramirez first connected at a club in Los Angeles. They clicked right away, and by February 2015, they had made their romance public on Instagram. Wittek posted a picture of himself cuddling Ramirez on Instagram to show off his newfound affection. The caption that appeared after that read,
Regularly, the ex-couple posted lovely pictures on each of their personal social media profiles from their romantic getaways and casual get-togethers.
The vast majority of them, though, was afterward erased. Unfortunately, before the end of 2018, the two had concluded their conversation. However, the romance—or rather, the prior relationship—gained attention when Wittek credited his success to his ex-girlfriend in the latter half of 2020.
He Attributes His Success to His Ex-Girlfriend
“It’s not hard to hate him. But I can relate to Bryce [Hall] as a fellow man with limited talent who is only well-known because of his ex-girlfriend.
Wittek introduced the other YouTuber when he joined the conversation at Jeff’s Barbershop. By another interview, Wittek gave on Toddy Smith’s YouTube channel in 2018, his relationship with Ramirez gave him a lot of social media traction.
Their relationship was so firmly rooted in social media that they had to question if they were actually dating or just acting in a way that suited both of them. They broke up after realizing that their jobs prevented them from having a fulfilling relationship.
His Career Spanned Out
Having said that, Wittek’s career as an actor and a social media celebrity took off during his relationship with Ramirez. He appeared in two YouTube short movies in 2016. He first met Toddy Smith, a Vlog Squad member, in 2017 in New York City during an American Express brand marketing event. Since they were both “drunk out of their wits” at the time, they were able to instantly bond over alcohol.
To put it succinctly, the host of Jeff’s Barbershop’s situation continued to deteriorate. He got to know another well-known YouTuber, David Dobrik, in November 2018 while hanging out with Smith.
In 2018 and 2019, Wittek made several appearances on Dobrik’s channel before launching his talk show. For reference, Wittek’s YouTube channel had fewer than 5,000 subscribers in November 2018 but 220,000 by February 2019. The rest is history, as they say.
