The feud between Jeff Wittek and David Dobrik is far from over.
It all started in June 2020, when Dobrik and his Vlog Squad, which included Wittek, planned far too far ahead for their content.
They dumped an excavator in a lake and let Dobrik drive it around, spinning his friends around on a crane attached to a rope.
Wittek collided with the excavator after spinning around at high speeds, so things didn’t go as planned. His left eye was permanently damaged as a result of the incident.

Wittek reportedly underwent nine surgeries around his eyes over the next year and a half, but he is still not fully recovered.
In an Instagram post on February 16, 2022, he gave his followers a quick update on his eyes, writing, “Surgery went great! One down, nine to go! I finally managed to get one of these damn plates out of my eye! Thank you so much for your love and support.”
The post also included a series of his hospital bed photos, the majority of which showed bandages around his left eye.
Following the incident, many fans asked him if Dobrik had messaged him to check in after the surgery, to which he replied that the YouTuber had not contacted him in a long time.
“Nope. Nope. “It’s either a text or nothing,” Wittek revealed. “You know, I’m not surprised. That is what it is… I’m over pretending to be friends with that [expletive].”
Not only that, but Wittek recently unfollowed Dobrik on Instagram, implying that they were no longer friends.
Jeff Wittek on Whether He Intends to Sue David Dobrik
When it was discovered that Dobrik had been ghosting Wittek, fans began petitioning the internet personality to sue the fellow social media star for a permanent eye injury.
“No [expletive], it’s not too late to sue him for lifelong injuries,” one fan said in response to Wittek’s post.
“I hope Jeff gets justice, tbh,” said another.
“I’m delighted to hear that your surgery went well. I’ve been thinking about you and praying for you. “Wishing you a speedy recovery,” someone else added.
In addition, DramaAlert, an online entertainment and news reporting media, texted the YouTuber and asked if he planned to sue Dobrik.
“Do you intend to sue David for the injuries?” the outlet inquired.
In response, Wittek wrote, “Nah, I’m just pissed. He let me down in numerous ways. I hoped he’d learn from his mistakes, but he’s only gotten worse.”
The text was leaked in a recent DramaAlert YouTube video while reporting on the excavator stunt and eye injury.
The texts make it clear that Dobrik will not be sued for his past actions because Wittek is unwilling to do so.
Wittek is currently scheduled to co-host the Roast Of Bryce Hall on February 25th, alongside fellow Vlog Squad members Nick ‘Jonah’ Antonyan and Jason Nash.
