Jenna Ortega Breaks Her Silence About Latest Fashion Failure At The ‘Scream VI’ Premiere

Fans of Jenna Ortega were perplexed when they noticed a blue stain on her unusual outfit during the premiere of ‘Scream 6’. Hear what transpired directly from the celebrity.

Jenna Ortega has joined the conversation. The Scream VI actress, 20, explained why she had a blue stain (seen on her right neckline below) on the stunning Jean Paul Gaultier Couture dress she wore to the film’s Los Angeles premiere on March 6 in the caption of a slideshow of images she tweeted from the evening.

“SCREAM VI premiere @screammovies,” she said, adding the hashtags “#tiffanyandco #sharpiestainwhogivesa—t, #imsosorryolivier.”

The previous-to-last hashtag appears to indicate that Sharpie marker ink accidentally soiled her outfit, while the last hashtag refers to Olivier Rousteing, the designer of the one-of-a-kind frock. Evidently, Jenna was not very distressed by the blue stain, so maybe the designer of the dress will not be either!

Jenna’s outfit was created to resemble a black blazer and white button-down shirt that had been slightly unbuttoned, allowing it to be worn as a dress.

The white dress shirt served as the garment’s length and formed a plunging V-neck. The celebrity complemented her playful ensemble with black heels, a silver and white necklace, and red lips.

Before Jenna addressed the controversy, social media users immediately noticed the stain on fan reposts of the outfit.

On a side-by-side comparison of the dress worn by Jenna and the garment worn by a runway model, one fan remarked,

“I wish I knew the story behind the stain.”

As Jenna posted photos of herself wearing the outfit, an admirer joked that “the stain is actually a blue Verified check mark.”

The official Instagram account for the Scream franchise also noticed the discoloration and thought it was blood. “How effectively does the crimson carpet conceal blood stains?” the account asked.

Jenna recently discussed her design sense and revealed that it was strongly influenced by Wednesday, the character who helped her to national recognition.

In a March 1 interview with New York Magazine’s The Cut, she stated,

“When I was working on Wednesday, I wore nothing but black.” “I had no idea why. My closet has suddenly lost all of its colors.”

This week, she expressed the same feeling in an interview. “I believe that Wednesday significantly altered my tastes. I have difficulty separating her from me, at least in terms of wardrobe, she told InStyle on March 8.

“[Wearing gothic attire] is also something I’ve always desired to accomplish. I just never felt like I could. I feel as though there have always been numerous voices and ideas to which I have given too much weight to.
