Jennifer and Cooke reportedly met in the spring of 2018 after a mutual acquaintance introduced them. Laura Simpson was the matchmaker.
Lawrence and Mooney made their first public appearance as The Hunger Games actresses in 2018.
Lawrence, Gary Lawrence’s daughter, told Vanity Fair that she didn’t even bring her security guard when she went out with Maroney.
Cooke proposed to the X-Men actress in early February 2019 after dating for nearly a year.
Outsiders found out about the engagement when they saw Lawrence wearing a huge ring a few days later.
People report the ring was enormous. The public learned about the Don’t Look Up star’s engagement ring while she was out with her friends at ABC Cocina in New York. The starlet ended up showing off her big diamond ring in front of the press.
The ring seemed to be a round-shaped diamond set on an elaborate gold band at the time. The circlet was not what she had been wearing before the announcement.

In front of 150 of their closest friends and family members, the couple said their vows. The wedding was held at the opulent Belcourt of Newport house in Newport, Rhode Island.
Dior Wedding Gown on Jennifer Lawrence
Lawrence, Karen Lawrence’s daughter, wore a Dior gown for the occasion. Speaking of the gown, the Passengers actress once stated that she knew her gown was the one the moment she saw it.
The gown was fashioned to order. It also devised its own particular security methods. The outfit was from the French fashion label, and it had its own room at the Viking hotel. The entire European design team arrived the day before the wedding. The Dior team drove the gown to Lawrence and Maroney’s wedding the morning before.
Guests at Lawrence and Cooke’s Wedding
Among the notable celebrity visitors were Adele, Amy Schumer, Kris Jenner, Emma Stone, and Ashley Olsen.
Adele, Jenner, Nicole Riche, Joel Madden, Cameron Diaz, and, according to reports, Bradley Cooper attended a rehearsal dinner at Rose Island in Newport, Rhode Island.
Guests partied late into the night following the vows. Later, at the Belcourt, they ate passed burgers and other dishes from Boston’s Baddest Food Truck and Maine ly Lobstah. The afterparty began around 12:30 a.m. The wedding party served guests until just after 3 a.m.
The bride and groom partied until 5:30 a.m., when no guests remained. The pair waited until all of the guests had left. They wanted to say goodbye to each and every attendee individually.
Lawrence and her art dealer husband welcomed their first child in February 2022, two years after their wedding. Lawrence announced her pregnancy earlier in September 2021.
When Lawrence and Maroney took a stroll with their baby stroller in April 2022, the world learned about Cy.
People have reported Lawrence hadn’t considered marriage when she met Cooke Maroney.
The Oscar winner revealed to Naked With Catt Sadler that she had recently met Cooke and had decided to marry him. They both seemed to want to marry and devote entirely to each other.

Lawrence’s husband, Cooke, grew up in Vermont and works in the art world.
Maroney attended New York University and majored in art history. He is now the Gladstone Gallery’s director at large, having previously worked at the prestigious Gagosian gallery network.
