The American singer Jennifer Lopez married Ben Affleck over the weekend in a quick ceremony, looking stunning in her wedding dress. On July 17, 17 years after they first got engaged, the 52-year-old actress made their covert marriage to the Argo star public on her official website.

The pair obtained their marriage license from Clark County in Nevada on July 16, according to court records that media outlet Today obtained. According to Lopez’s On the JLo newsletter, the newlyweds dressed for their elegant wedding in Las Vegas in clothes from their closets.

The singer of On My Way wore two white costumes to the occasion, per her email. Jennifer Lopez embellished her long white gown with silver jewelry for her intimate wedding, including earrings and a bracelet. She completed her bridal appearance with bare skin, smokey eyes, and loose hair.
“I’ve had this dress for years and years and years, just saving, saving, saving, and now I’m wearing it on my wedding day.”
Her D-Day hairstylist Chris Appleton also shared a video of the actress’ last appearance before her wedding on Instagram. A white lace off-the-shoulder gown with a sweetheart neckline and corset bodice appeared to be Lopez’s next bridal attire by Zuhair Murad.
The actress used a similar lace veil to complete her look. She kept her makeup elegant yet simple with smoky eyes, nude lips, her trademark bronze glow, and curls.
In her romantic comedy Marry Me, Lopez previously donned this outfit. On the other side, Ben Affleck was more casually attired, wearing a cream-colored jacket over a white shirt and a black bowtie. Lopez wrote in her letter:
“With the best witnesses you could possibly imagine, a dress from an old movie and a blazer from Ben’s wardrobe, we performed our vows in the small chapel and handed one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives.”
He completed his look by wearing a white rose pinned to his jacket.
The couple’s marriage to each other is not their first. When they ran into one other while filming Gigli in July 2002, their love affair first gained attention.
After dating for four months, they got engaged. However, they did call it quits in 2004. The next year, Lopez wed Marc Anthony, and their twins Emme and Maximilian were born in 2008. 2014 saw the couple’s divorce.
Ben Affleck wed Jennifer Garner in 2005, meanwhile. Their three kids are Violet (16), Seraphina (13), and Samuel (10). The pair divorced in 2018. After fueling reconciliation rumors in 2021, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got hitched in April 2022.
