Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard announced in November that they were expecting their third child following a miscarriage in October.
Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are expecting a baby boy, their second child. The couple disclosed the gender of their unborn child on their family blog on Wednesday, one month after they announced their pregnancy.
“We are blessed to be expecting a healthy boy in July! Your continued supplications are highly appreciated.
They sent a letter through the mail
“We had intended to find out our baby’s gender a few weeks ago, then Covid hit our family and we had to postpone the joyous announcement,” said the couple, who already have two kids, Israel David, 6, and Samuel Scott, 4, and are expecting their third child.
Israel was on spring break by the time we were able to reschedule, so this turned out to be a gift in disguise. This enabled our entire family to attend the visit, where we all learned that a new baby boy would be joining the Dillard family.
They continued.
Before traveling to their appointment, the Dillards began their day with breakfast and shopping at their neighborhood Buttered Biscuit.
They also took a family portrait in which Jill, 30, and Derick, 33, held a onesie with the words “It’s a boy” In addition, their sons wore T-shirts with the words “large” and “middle” as well as a onesie with the word “small.”
Jill and Derick announced on their blog last month that they are expecting a child following a miscarriage in October. “We have prayed that, if it was God’s will, he would bless us with another child ever since the loss of our lovely baby, River Bliss, last fall,” they said at the time.
“We are thrilled to share that God has heard our prayers, and we are expecting our rainbow baby in July 2022!” said their post. We are extremely grateful for a healthy baby and pregnancy thus far, and we eagerly await the gender announcement!
