Jim Chapman wed his longtime fiancée, Sarah Tarleton, in a private courthouse ceremony on Monday, prior to their wedding celebration in Spain. The couple welcomed their daughter into the world six months ago. Tuesday, March 29th, the couple announced their surprise nuptials at the Santa Barbara Courthouse in California via Instagram.

Sarah Tarleton posted some stunning wedding ceremony photographs with the caption:
“Mr. and Mrs. Chapman, 28.3.2022, Courthouse in Santa Barbara” We decided to get married and handle the paperwork prior to our wedding celebration in Spain. The greatest day ever spent together and the best evening ever spent with family and friends in Los Angeles.”
The first photo depicts the newlyweds sharing a passionate embrace, while the remaining images depict them with their 6-month-old daughter Margot. For the occasion, Jim Chapman wore a navy blue pinstriped suit and brown loafers.
The bride wore a striking white gown with red heart embellishments and black stiletto heels. Margot wore a white and blue striped dress with a pink cardigan to match her father’s attire.
Chapman displayed an additional close-up of their daughter Margot on their wedding day, flanked by her doting parents.
Jim Chapman, 34, of YouTube fame, and Sarah Tarleton, 28, an Anglo-Indian model from London, have been engaged since July 2020. They began dating in June 2019, three months after the former YouTuber divorced his ex-wife of three years, Tanya Burr.
Chapman and Burr had been together for 12 years before their nuptials. In November 2020, Burr addressed the divide for the first time, stating,
“He remains my closest friend. Since we’ve been closest friends for twelve years, people will anticipate some drama from us. We will hopefully remain in each other’s lives forever.”
She was saddened by the rumors surrounding their separation, which she described as “awful and dreadful,” but she insisted that what really mattered was what she and Chapman believed.
Tarleton’s pregnancy was announced by the couple in March 2021. On March 1, 2021, the couple announced their impending parenthood via Instagram.
According to the caption by Jim Chapman,
“I’d like to introduce you to our newborn infant, @sarah.tarleton. The joy I felt throughout this scan was extraordinary. It was awe-inspiring to observe our minuscule wriggling baby in Sarah’s stomach.
He continued on,
“The previous twelve weeks have been a peculiar mix of hope for the future and concern that all may not be well. I may have had a hand in creating this little miracle, but whoever they turn out to be will be my defining moment.”
Tarleton, who models in the United Kingdom for fashion, lingerie, and swimwear labels, will return to work in November 2021, just three months after giving birth to Margot in September.
