After nine years in Philadelphia, NBC10 anchor Jim Rosenfield will depart at the end of the month.
Jim Rosenfield, NBC10’s weeknight news anchor since 2013, and five-time Emmy Award winner, signed out for the final time during the station’s 6 p.m. Friday program.
Rosenfield, who co-anchors the daily newscasts at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m., said in a statement released by NBC10 on Wednesday night that he is exploring for other possibilities closer to home. His last broadcast day will be on December 23.
Rosenfield said in a statement that he had been summoned back to New York. After nine years of service to NBC10, he is ready to relocate back to his hometown, where his family is expecting him, and pursue new chances.
