Joseph William Namath is the full name of a former professional football player from the United States. During the 1960s and 1970s, he was a quarterback in the American Football League (AFL) and the National Football League (NFL). Joe Namath was an AFL star who played for the New York Jets throughout his professional football career. He was also associated with the Los Angeles Rams, and he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985.
