Joe is not dating anybody new as of 2020. He has been living a solitary life and avoiding the media for a number of years. Joe lost out on spending time with friends and family during the peak of his career, but these days he spends his time playing golf.
He lives at his 1.5-acre home in Tequesta, Florida. His home features a swimming pool, a boat dock, and three bathrooms in addition to four bedrooms. In addition, the Tequesta area has a private 18-hole golf course.
Now we can say that the man is unwinding. Even though he has ceased hosting broadcasts, Namath continues to oversee the football camp in Massachusetts that he founded in collaboration with John Dockery.
Joe’s One and Only Union With Deborah Mays, His Former Wife
Joe and Deborah Lynne Mays, his longtime girlfriend, were married on November 7, 1984. In the backyard of Deborah’s friend at the Coral Ridge Country Club in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a private wedding ceremony took place. A dozen guests attended the nuptials by the pool.

Joe looked sharp in a gray pinstripe suit at the ceremony. Deborah, on the other hand, had an orchid in her stunning blond hair, a pink sash around her lips, and a calf-length lace and silk white dress.
Early in the 1980s, Joe met Deborah while taking voice lessons.
In the early 1980s, Namath first met his now-ex-wife. Joe had made the decision to enroll in a voice coaching course taught by famous vocal coach Arthur Joseph at the time. It so happened that Mays, his future wife, was enrolled in the same program.
Deborah was nearing the end of her lessons, while the seasoned football player was just beginning his class with Arthur. Arthur had known Mays for a short time, and she had even disclosed to him her intentions for marriage. According to Arthur in Joe Namath’s biography, “It was a vision of hers.” Her dream was to wed a football player.
The voice coach made the decision to pair them up as a result.
However, Rebecca, Arthur’s wife, opposed the notion of introducing Deborah, who was 20 at the time and whom she regarded as a child, to a mature man like Joe, who was in his 40s.
Arthur nevertheless made the decision to take a chance because he knew they were soulmates. Joe called May the day after their introduction, and they began dating.
Children of Joe Namath: Father of Two Daughters
A year or so into their marriage, Joe and Deborah welcomed a daughter as their first child. Jessica Namath was the first child they named. A few years after she was born, on December 11th, 1990, Joe became a father once more when Olivia Namath was born.
Speaking of his daughters, Joe and Jessica both attended the University of Alabama, where Jessica received her degree. She later got married to Brian Kennedy, and the two of them have a son together. In August 2019, she filed for divorce after their nuptials failed.
In addition to Jessica, Olivia, Joe’s youngest, is a mother of one child, having given birth at the young age of sixteen. When she found out she was pregnant, she was in high school. In addition, Olivia was previously taken into custody by the Palm Beach police on suspicion of underage consumption and marijuana use.
In 2000, Joe and his spouse Deborah got divorced.
After being married for a few years, Joe’s spouse decided to end their marriage because she was getting bored. In September 1998, she left Namath’s home and continued to reside in California. She had developed feelings for the surgeon Brian Novack while she was living in California.
Deborah, who legally changed her name to May Tatiana Namath in July 1993, spoke about leaving her boring relationship and moving out to the Sun-Sentinel in 1999. She said, “We have two beautiful daughters, but finally I had to tell Joe the marriage wasn’t working for me.” My boredom was overwhelming. Brian has my heart. He’s not like Joe at all. He is extremely perceptive.
She also claimed that one of the reasons she felt bored was Florida living. “Joe enjoys spending his days on the golf course or watching sports on TV, but I enjoy going to the theater, museums, and art galleries,” she said. I found Florida to be quite dull.
On March 19, 1999, Joe formally filed for divorce, one year after they had split up. He was granted exclusive custody of his two kids following the finalization of their divorce in 2000. Their mother used to sometimes visit them, but the New York Jets athlete raised the two of them by himself.
