Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope welcomed their first child on Friday, January 20. On Monday, January 16, the couple revealed the name of their daughter, Dylan Rose Lawrence.
Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope married in California on May 1, 2022, and had their first child within a year. To learn more about their baby girl, the couple posted a lovely statement on Instagram, which read:
“We brought her into the world with the most incredible midwife, everyone is happy and healthy, and we are ecstatic. What an incredible adventure. Thank you for your unending encouragement in this wonderful new life! “Watch out for baby spam xoxo”
Dylan Rose is Lawrence’s third child, and he also has two daughters from his previous marriage.

Lawrence married Cope in a private ceremony in May 2022 in the presence of the couple’s close friends and family members, as previously stated. Heather Christian Folger of HCD Weddings & Events oversaw the entire event.
Lawrence’s children from his previous marriage to Chandie Yawn-Nelson, Charleston, 16, and Liberty, 12, attended the wedding at Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula, California. Prior to their wedding, the couple had been engaged for about a year. Blossom revealed the same in an Instagram post in August 2021. According to the singer:
“Looks like the cats are out of the bag!” We are grateful for everyone’s tremendous support and kind words. We are overjoyed to see what the future holds for us, and knowing that we will grow old and wrinkled together is the best gift of all.”
According to reports, the couple met on the set of a Lifetime movie directed by Joey Lawrence’s brother Andrew and starring his oldest daughter, Charleston.

Lawrence is married for the third time, having previously married Michelle Vella and Chandie Yawn-Nelson. In 2002, he married Vella, but the couple divorced in 2005. After their divorce, the singer married Yawn-Nelson in July 2005.
The couple married in Disney World, where they met as teenagers on vacation. During their nearly 15-year marriage, Lawrence and Yawn-Nelson have two children, Charleston and Liberty.
After declaring bankruptcy in July 2017, the couple divorced in 2020. After his divorce, Joey Lawrence met his current wife, Samantha Cope. Cope stated in an interview about their relationship prior to marriage:
“From the beginning, it was a safe environment for me to be myself. He adores everything about me and delights in my quirks. I considered myself extremely fortunate to have been able to obtain it. ‘I will be with you forever,’ I said two weeks later.”
Lawrence stated his feelings in the same interview, saying:
“If you meet the right person, if you’re lucky enough, it gets right to the point. I have a friend who shares my values and speaks the same love language as I do, and we communicate in the same way. That is extremely important. And I appreciate it.”
Cope’s pregnancy was announced in September 2022, following their marriage.
