John Brown, who has worked with Agoda for over nine years, took over as CEO in
June 2018. He was the vice president, COO, and CPO of Agoda.
His prior achievements and engagements include working for Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a consultant from 2002 to 2008 and as the USAID Advisor to the Minister of Commerce in Afghanistan from 2009 to 2010.
He also worked as a volunteer coordinator for the growth of small and medium-sized businesses in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 1999 to 2000, and in Birzai, Lithuania, from 1996 to 1999.
John studied at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School from 2000 to 2002. He studied at Yale University from 1986 until 1990.
