1963 saw a flurry of press coverage following Kennedy’s shooting while traveling through Dallas in his motorcade.

The new death certificate was signed by Theron Ward in Dallas Country on December 6 with a different reason for his death: two gunshot wounds close to the center of the body and one inch to the right center of the back of the head.
