Before falling in love in each other’s arms, John Molner and Katie Couric experienced a detour in their own lives. The pair got married before they even knew each other and stayed in relationships with several people.

Before getting married, John and his current wife were already married to their first spouse and had kids together. John Franke was married to Jane Franke, an English instructor at Dorcas International Institute in Rhode Island.
John Molner’s wife, a girl named Allie Molner, and a boy named Henry Molner are his two ex-spouses’ children. Additionally, Couric was wed to Jay Monahan. Since getting married in 1989, they have had two kids. When Jay passed away from colon cancer in 1998, their nine-year marriage came to an end.
