The former White House reporter claimed that following a medical procedure, he had a pacemaker installed in his heart. He said that his previous stent needed to be reopened since it had become obstructed:

It turned out that the signals I received during Trump and Putin’s trip to Helsinki were once more obstructed. They then reopened it, but my heart’s electrical wiring was failing just like that of former Vice President Mike Pence. I have a pacemaker, thus I am now battery-powered.

According to the reporter, he was feeling “75 percent” better and anticipated being “100 percent” better soon. John Roberts also expressed his gratitude to his medical professionals and his support group for the identification and care he received.
