On Saturday, February 18, 2023, country musician and songwriter Jon Pardi and his wife Summer became parents for the first time. The happy couple welcomed their child, Presley Fawn Pardi, into the world and announced it on social media.
Presley Fawn Pardi was born on Saturday at 5.05 a.m., according to Pardi, who shared a photo of his firstborn online. The singer-songwriter captioned the photo on Instagram, revealing that the baby weighed seven pounds and twelve ounces:
“Our baby daughter has arrived and is ready to Pardi, DAD!” Summer Pardi. Presley Fawn, Pardi. 2•18•2023. 5:05 am. 20.25 inches tall, 7 pounds and 12 ounces.”
Jon and Summer Duncan Pardi announced their pregnancy in September of last year.
In 2017, Summer Duncan began dating Jon Pardi
Summer Duncan, Jon Pardi’s wife, is a Northern California native who has worked as a hairdresser for over a decade. According to Country Thang Daily, she ran a salon and spa in California in the early 2010s, which is now closed. Summer met Pardi through a mutual acquaintance, who was the former’s customer and a friend of Jon’s mother, according to reports.
After that, the two were set up on a date, which turned into a romance. Summer claimed in an interview that the first five minutes of the date had an impact on her and that she immediately contacted her mother to tell her story. Jon Pardi, on the other hand, admitted to falling in love at first sight.
The Dirt On My Boots singer elaborated on his first date in an interview with PEOPLE Magazine, saying:
“She was the first woman I’d dated who made me feel like she had my back and that we were truly a team. Summer is stunning on the outside, but her heart and compassion are unparalleled. We have the most fun together in every situation, and we never stop laughing.”
On October 2, 2019, the Heartache Medicine singer proposed to his then-girlfriend and now-wife, Summer Duncan, after nearly three years of dating. They will marry in a private ceremony on November 21, 2020, at Tennessee’s Saddle Woods property. Summer did, however, later explain that their wedding did not go as planned due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Summer also appeared on CMT in Pardi Time, an eight-episode digital-variety series based on the Write You a Song singer. She rarely shares glimpses of her life on social media, but shortly after the birth of Presley Fawn Pardi, she posted a photo of her “bedside pal” on Instagram. Summer and Jon Pardi announced their pregnancy in September via PEOPLE Magazine, saying they were thrilled to become a “Pardi of three.”
