The birth and siblings of Elizabeth Francis Frakes was born on May 30, 1997, in Maine to Jonathan and Genie. Alongside her brother Jameson Ivor Frakes, the now-24-year-old Frakes spent her formative years in Belfast, Maine.

Theater Artist Elizabeth Francis Frakes’ Career
When Frake was 15, she won a coveted National YoungArts Foundation Honorable Mention for her film IV Script, With Love, Tuck, and Alex, launching her theater career in her mid-teens.
Frakes had stated that she intended to pursue filmmaking and storytelling techniques while attending Viewpoint school so that she could produce movies to inform the public about environmental issues.
Eliza was very involved in the English and Theatre departments during her time in college and had finished an independent study in collaboration with both departments that allowed her to create a play and a pilot.
Later, her original pilot won the Wild Sound Festival’s student division.
She also won the acting departmental distinction award while she was an undergraduate.
Frakes visited Portland Experimental Theatre Ensemble to take acting classes. She picked up everything there, including designing and Shakespeare. In Portland, Oregon, she worked as a RA/TA at Fir Acres, a writing program.
