Following his arrest on Saturday in New York City for allegedly hitting a lady during a domestic quarrel, Jonathan Majors denied any involvement. The ‘Creed III” actor was detained in New York City on Saturday during a domestic incident with a 30-year-old woman, according to police.

According to the police record acquired by HollywoodLife, the 33-year-old actor was charged with strangulation, assault, and harassment. The actor’s representative stated, “He has done nothing wrong, and we look forward to clearing his name and resolving this matter.”

According to the report, police responded to a 911 call at a Chelsea apartment on March 25 where a preliminary investigation “found that a 33-year-old male was involved in a domestic argument with a 30-year-old female.”

The woman reported being “assaulted” by the man, who was “taken into custody without incident.” The unidentified woman had minor head and neck injuries and was sent to a local hospital, authorities said.

Five years after entering the industry, Majors is one of the hottest performers working in Hollywood. In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, he debuted as the renowned comic book villain Kang the Conqueror, who is anticipated to lead the next phase of the superhero production organization.

The upcoming Sundance drama Magazine Dreams, in which he portrays a bodybuilder, is already generating award talk.

Jonathan Majors played in the HBO series Lovecraft County and the Korean war drama Devotion before being cast in Creed III. In 2020’s Da Bloods, directed by Spike Lee and co-starring Chadwick Boseman, he also made a splash.

His major break, however, came with the 2019 independent film The Last Black Man in San Francisco, which won him a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award and critical acclaim.

Films White Boy Rick and Out of the Blue, the anthology picture Do Not Disturb, and the television film Much Ado About Nothing are among his many credits.

Majors earned his bachelor’s degree in 2012 from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and his master’s degree in 2016 from Yale School of Drama.
