Huitema, a native of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, was first introduced to soccer when she was four years old.
Jordyn Huitema’s parents are both ardent athletes who want to inspire their kids to play sports.
Despite not being professional players themselves, they gave her the support she needed to succeed in soccer.
Jordyn said her mother was a great swimmer in a TorToronto interview. She grew up to be exceedingly, incredibly talented, according to her, and established a provincial breaststroke record.
However, throughout his university years, Jordyn’s father, Roger, participated in football, rugby, and soccer.
She said that while dabbling in each sport, he never really committed to any one of them.

Her older brother Brody participated in the Vancouver Whitecaps Residency Program and played soccer at Duke University.
Jordyn’s brother was a Whitecaps player before tending Duke University. He wanted to become proa, just as Jordyn said, but life simply swept him up and led him in a different direction. She did not, however, explain the cause in such detail.
Brody made his Canadian youth program debut in 2012 with coach Robert Gale when he was 17 years old.
