Josh and Isiah Olave, Chris Olave’s brothers, are his staunchest backers and take great pride in his achievements. Out of three brothers, the top player for the New Orleans Saints is the only one who plays football professionally.

That being said, Josh and Isiah, who both played collegiate football, are extremely passionate about the sport. American wide receiver Christian Josiah Olave is now a member of the National Football League (NFL) New Orleans Saints. His selection came in round one, 11th overall in the 2022 NFL draft.

That year’s first-round selections also included Garrett Wilson, Charles Cross, Aidan Hutchinson, Sauce Gardner, and Travon Walker. Olave recorded three receptions for 41 yards and a two-point conversion in his NFL debut. He started nine of the fifteen games in his first campaign, hauling in 72 passes for 1,042 yards and four receiving touchdowns. Signed on May 13, 2022, he now has a four-year, $19.2 million deal with the Saints.

Chris Olave’s Brothers Age Gap: Josh and Isiah Olave

The three children born to LaCausha and Raul Olave are the NFL standout from California. He was raised with Josh and Isiah Olave, his two brothers. Born on June 27, 2000, Chris Olave is the youngest of three brothers. In 2023, the wide receiver for the Saints will be 23 years old.

Although the exact dates of Isiah and Joshua’s birth are uncertain, it is thought that they are in their thirties. As previously mentioned, August 15 is Josh’s birthday. The age difference between the Olave brothers is rather small. The NFL legend is a few years older than Isiah, the oldest. There doesn’t seem to be much of an age gap between Josh and Chris.

East Lake High School was their shared high school. 2014 saw Isiah Olave graduate, 2017 saw Joshua graduate, and 2018 saw Chris graduate. They frequently trade pictures of themselves at holidays and family get-togethers since they are quite close.

They have shown each other unwavering support. In October 2023, Chris was detained by the Kenner Police Department for careless driving. His brother Josh supported him on Twitter. But Josh was chastised in several comments for not confronting the violation of driving laws.

Chris Olave’s Brothers Played College Football

His brothers only participated in college football; Chris Olave is the only Olave sibling to have signed with the NFL. Isiah, the older brother, attended the University of California, Davis in 2014 and continued to play there until 2018. The most memorable of his UC Davis Aggies years was his senior year.

Out of all Aggies, he recorded the third-most tackles (66, including 37 solos). He received the Captain’s Award in recognition. He did not declare for the NFL draft following his graduation from college, and it is unclear if he is still employed. Josh, on the other hand, played for Azusa Pacific University for three seasons (2017–19) and was recognized as a GNAC All-Academic and All-GNAC Second Team defender.

In December 2020, he relocated to Weber State University, where he spent one season as a cornerback. In the process, he led the Wildcats to their fourth straight Big Sky Championship with a 20–15 triumph against Idaho State. In a historic victory over Northern Arizona, he made three tackles (two solo) and threw a 50-yard “Hail Mary.”

Chris Olave’s Family Tree: Parents and Ethnicity

Olave is a naturalized American who comes from a multicultural background. While his mother, LaCusha, is African-American, his father, Raul, is of Cuban descent. His parents’ financial struggles to make ends meet characterized his early years. To add to the discussion, the NFL player’s mother worked two jobs and his father worked night shifts for twenty years.

The family appears to be enjoying a comfortable life now that the circumstances have changed. It seems plausible, since their son Chris earns millions of dollars each season.
