Julian Bleach (born December 29, 1963)[1] is an English actor, singer, and playwright best known for his work on the musical comedy Shockheaded Peter, which won the 2002 Olivier Award for Best Entertainment.

In 2010, he was chosen to play the title role in The Nightmare Man, the first episode of Series 4 of The Sarah Jane Adventures. As a result, he joins Paul Marc Davis as the only two actors to have starred in all three of Doctor Who’s spinoff series: Torchwood and The Sarah-Jane Adventures. In the 2011 season of The Borgias on Showtime, he played Niccol Machiavelli.
As Barkilphedro in the critically acclaimed new musical The Grinning Man, which relocated to Trafalgar Studios in late 2017, Bleach made his Bristol Old Vic debut in 2016. He performed in Saint George and the Dragon, a new drama by Rory Mullarkey, at the Royal National Theatre that same year.
