Juliet Anderson- Professional Career

Juliet Anderson was known as “Aunt Peg” to her fans because of a scene in a Swedish Erotica miniseries in which she was seen having sex with a niece, who cried, “Oh, Aunt Peg!”. This is how she became known to adult film fans. She quit the adult film industry in 1985 after relinquishing distribution rights to the film Educating Nina. In 1998, she starred in Wadd: The Life and Times of John C. Holmes, and in 2005, she gave one of her final roles.

Death

On January 11, 2010, a friend discovered Anderson’s body. The buddy mentioned going to Anderson’s house to transport them to a doctor’s appointment for a colonoscopy in order to help her with Crohn’s Disease therapy.

He also indicated that he discovered Anderson on the bed and that there was nothing “out of the ordinary” in the room. Anderson had expressed a desire to be cremated, according to him. On January 26, 2010, a memorial service was held at San Francisco’s Centre for Sex and Culture.

Anderson’s roles were tough-talking and unsentimental, yet lively, vibrant, and even comedic—all at the same time—during her film career. She was said to have never acted out a climax in any of her films.

Author Charles Taylor dubbed her “the Joan Blondell of p*rn” because she “brought a great film persona to p*rn.” Another critic, Howard Hampton, remarked that “her gruff, no-nonsense elderly woman portrayal belongs on the fringes of every Howard Hawks film.”
