The upcoming show is an original Disney+ series based on the same-titled webcomic. It describes a new race with an immortal body called “Connect.”

One such individual, Dong Soo, is abducted by organ harvesters and therefore loses one of his eyes. A few months later, he discovers that the eye he had lost was transplanted into an uncontrollable serial killer in Korea, raising significant debate.

As he begins his search for the serial killer, Dong Soo vows to right the wrongs his misuse of power has caused.

Director Takashi Miike will helm Connect

Connect will be directed by Takashi Miike, a renowned filmmaker with a global fan base. This will be his first production in Korean. The anticipation for a mystery film directed by Miike with his signature mise-en-scène is high.

Dong Soo is transported from the Connect to the screen by Jung Hae-in. While on the trail of a serial killer, the character becomes entangled in an unanticipated situation and begins to display a wide range of emotions.

The protagonist of the episode, Jung Hae-in, will exhibit a previously unexplored aspect of himself in a dramatic transformation. Go Kyung-Pyo, whose dramatic versatility has startled audiences, will play Jin Seop, a serial killer who accidentally catches Dong Soo’s attention.

Similar to Janus, the character has two faces. On the surface, he appears to be a perfect and wonderful employee, but he also has an unexpected trait that adds tension to the drama.

On the promotional poster, Dong Soo, who portrays Hae, looks directly at the audience. Dong Soo and the notorious serial killer Jin Seop will meet face to face, as depicted on the billboard by Jin Seop overlapping Dong Soo.

The poster also depicts Dong Soo’s assistant Lee Rang (played by Kim Hye-Joon), who is privy to his secrets and the talents that accompany them. Connect will make its Disney+ premiere on December 7, 2022.
