He began his football career in 2007 with FSV Frankfurt’s U-19 squad and went on to play for numerous German organizations; he joined Klein Karben in 2009 as a free agent.
After just one season, the athlete transferred to Darmstadt 98 in July 2010. In 2012, he joined Dortmund, where he was at the pinnacle of his career, after improving his form at Darmstadt.
