Kailyn Lowry described her last encounter with her divorced father and her desire to reconcile with Susie, her long-lost mother.
On 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom 2, the difficult familial status of the MTV star was depicted.
Tuesday, Kailyn placed a question-and-answer box on her Instagram account, inviting fans to submit any pressing inquiries. A fan asked that the reality star attempting to gain her father’s sister be included on one of your podcasts.
She stated,
“I haven’t seen my father since I was sixteen and pregnant.” I would not wear any one of those. ” “I’m considering contacting my mother about it,” continued the MTV personality.
Kailyn has not concealed the fact that her connection with her parents is strained.

Following his critique of Teen Mom, the reality actress referred to her father, Raymond, as a “f**king joke” in 2020. Raymond was absent from Kailyn’s life for the majority of it.
Despite this, he criticized the MTV reality show as a “bad show” that “young females” should avoid viewing. Kailyn revealed that she has not seen Raymond since she was pregnant with her son Isaac in 2009.
When Raymond lent her money and informed her that being pregnant was dreadful, Kailyn was devastated. The network’s cameras captured the entire incident.
Raymond lashed out a decade earlier over the show’s portrayal of him. “I was also on the show, and they made me look awful,” he wrote on Facebook. I get what you’re saying when you say you shouldn’t have to justify yourself.
He stated,
“I believe the show is inappropriate for young female viewers.”
I believe it offers youngsters, among other things, a misleading sense of what it is like to be a parent at such a young age.
My opinion is that it is a terrible show. We regret that you had a terrible experience with the show. I’ve been there. I adore you. ” Raymond was responding to Kailyn’s sister Mikaila’s defense of her portrayal in Teen Mom 2.
Kailyn reacted to Raymond,
“No, that is a f**king joke” Do not even begin with this utter garbage.”
She said,
“You have not been around or sought to contact any of us, nor have you paid child support.”
DAD’S DISAPPOINTMENT
In her autobiography, Pride Over Pity, the actress detailed her tense relationship with her father. According to what I was told, I was a severely ill infant who died of pneumonia.
My mother alleges that my father whisked me away from Pennsylvania to Texas so that he could raise me alone, rather than taking me to the doctor, she said. “Upon our arrival, he took me to the hospital, but my mother pursued him with police and attorneys and ultimately recovered me.”
They had lost contact but were reconnected over Facebook. To see Raymond, Kailyn traveled to Texas with a camera team.
He possessed a mullet, lacked teeth, and was “one foot shorter” than she had anticipated. Kail said, “He told me he lived in a cozy two-bedroom house, but the house he showed me was a little shack.”
The reality personality said that Raymond requested money from her for a Dunkin’ Donuts breakfast.
She wrote,
“His pregnant adolescent daughter was the last straw for me after he stole money from me.” Moreover, he “judged” her for being pregnant.
During my youth, Raymond [Lowry’s father] was not present. He was adamant that if he had been present, I would not be pregnant. I admired his concern for my situation, but I believed he lacked the power to cast judgment.
She wrote,
“He was absent during my adolescent missteps.”
In another episode of the show, Kailyn arranged for her four sons to visit their aunt and cousin while she was attending a business meeting in Dallas. I am distant from my sister. Daily, we never speak. I do not exchange text messages with her.
She does not text me, nor is our connection like this. She explained, “However, I wish my children knew more about my family because they are so linked to their father’s side.”
Kailyn, on the other hand, was not surprised by her sister’s cancellation and stated, “It’s a shame since I felt like I was the one making an effort.”
It is unlikely that I will contact you again. Mikaila reported that a dog had bitten her after the incident. It appears that she is searching for any feasible justification.
“For those of you still watching Teen Mom 2, I feel obliged to tell my side of the story,” she said on Facebook. A dog has bitten me.
This is not something to be ridiculed or made fun of. I was lucky to prevent nerve damage. My injury was oozing with fat. I experienced trouble walking for a week. I dislike being made to appear to be a bad person when I am not.
