The 15-year-old reportedly passed out on Wednesday while participating in a school football game. He was promptly rushed to the hospital, where it was discovered that he had died.

After his exam, he played football with a friend. When he was taken to the neighboring hospital, attempts to revive him were unsuccessful when he started having convulsions.

He was brought up in Enugu and Lagos, respectively. Yul is the sixth and last kid. Yul married when he was 22 years old. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts from the University of Port Harcourt.

Edochie made his acting debut in the 2005 Nollywood movie The Exquires, which also starred Justus Esiri and Enebeli Elebuwa.

He eventually got his big break after appearing in the 2007 film Wind of Glory with Genevieve Nnaji and Desmond Elliot. Edochie established a film school in Lagos in 2015.
