Judge Katy Perry of American Idol into the dispute when she exchanged her purported humiliation for backing.
Sara Beth Liebe, who previously accused Katy of mom shaming after her round audition performance on American Idol, expressed her struggles with being away from her three children during the singing competition’s Hollywood Week on a recent episode.
The young mother sang a fantastic rendition of Roxanne by The Police, but Sara had an announcement to make before the judges could react.
Sara said that since her heart was at home, the performance was her last. Katy concurred when Luke Bryan described Beth’s choice as a mistake.
Katy expressed sadness for Sara’s choice as well, saying, “Man, that sucks.” Sara accused Perry of mom-shaming her at her audition a few weeks before.

Sara Beth Liebe responded to a joke that Katy Perry made about her being a young mother shortly after her American Idol audition aired.
