Virginia Tech Hokies women’s basketball player Kayana Traylor. She is a guard that transferred from Purdue University in 2021-2022. Traylor, from Martinsville, Indiana, was an Indiana All-Star and two-time conference MVP in high school.
She played all 29 games and started 27 in her debut season at Virginia Tech. She was chosen All-ACC Freshman after averaging 11.6 points and 3.6 rebounds. The starter averaged 10.4 points and 27.4 minutes in 11 of 33 games.
She scored 19 times, including 19 in the Hokies’ ACC Tournament overtime win against UNC. Basketball player Kayana is speedy and scores well. She will be a significant contributor to Virginia Tech in the future.

Her parents, Jeff Walker, and Danielle Traylor, are proud and have supported their completely dedicated daughter throughout her life. Additionally, Kayana hails from an athletic family. Her parents, Jeff and Danielle, played at Iowa and LSU, respectively. April Traylor, her aunt, played at Florida State.
Additionally, Kayana’s parents have moved out. She was reared by a single mother because her parents never married. However, her parents have supported her, given her advice, and helped her comprehend the demands of being a great athlete throughout her career. Kayana Traylor was reared by her mother with three sisters. The Traylor sisters have been making an impression on the court like Kayana’s sisters. Father and mother met while playing junior college basketball. Danielle Traylor said, “It’s in the blood now,” in a phone interview. All four sisters are comparable on the court and excel in their games.
