The prosecution claimed that Kaylea’s parents, Alun Titford, 45, and Sarah Lloyd-Jones, 39, concealed their mistakes from the public as a result of the Covid lockdown.
By the time of her death, Kaylea was also unable to move on her dirty bed, her hair was matted and unclean, and her toenails hadn’t been cut in at least six months. She had significant skin irritation and ulceration.
Prosecutor Caroline Rees KC claims that Kaylea urinated in her own excrement because she was unable to use a toilet or restroom.
The prosecution remarked that it must have been a terrible experience that no animal would ever want to go through.
Father of Kaylea Titford: Too lazy to care for her

When questioned about why he had treated her kid so poorly, Mr. Ttford responded, “I am lazy.” He claimed that after work he became exhausted and went to his bedroom to watch TV.

The “rotting” smell in her room made the emergency personnel who arrived at the house after she was found on 10 October feel uncomfortable.
In addition, it was thought that the maggots that were found in her room had been eating on her body.

On March 1st, a sentence will be handed down at Swansea Crown Court to Kaylea Titford’s parents.
