After his first marriage ended in divorce, Key began dating actress and producer Elisa Pugliese, with whom he is currently happily married.

Let’s take a look at Keegan-Michael’s marriage to Pugliese and his previous marriage with Blaise in today’s episode.

A Year After Divorce, Keegan-Michael Married His Second Wife, Elisa Key

In June 2018, Friends from College star Key married film producer Elisa Pugliese. On June 8, 2018, the couple married at their New York City residence. Key and Pugliese kept their wedding somewhat quiet, with only a few close friends and family members in attendance.

The next day, Key posted a photo from their wedding on Instagram. Key is seen kissing his wife, Pugliese, who is holding a bouquet in her left hand, in the shot. “Best. Day. Ever.” “Never ever.” Key wrote in the caption. Here’s the link to the post.

In the meantime, Pugliese wrote, “Dear Mr. Key, I love you more and more every day.” Sincerely, Mrs. Key,” she said on Twitter.

Key and Pugliese discussed their wedding in an interview with Us Weekly only days before they exchanged vows. The Key & Pelee alum also explained why they chose to marry at home in the interview. Key stated:

“If we love our home, why would we get married anywhere else?” Let’s host a reception upstairs, followed by a party the next day. A large gathering. So it was a little wedding with a large celebration.”

On their wedding day, Key donned a black suit by Paul Smith, while the bride wore a Prada gown. Pugliese also held an orchid arrangement made by Elan Flowers.

The newlyweds hosted a reception at New York City’s One World Observatory.

On Saturday, June 9, Key and his wife Pugliese invited relatives and some renowned friends at One World Observatory in New York City.

During their honeymoon, the couple crossed the Atlantic.

People used to spend their honeymoons in exotic destinations, but those days are long gone. The comedian and his companion resolved to traverse the entire Atlantic.

Key, who has never been on a boat before, stated,

“We’re going on a crossing,” Key explains. “No stops, no cruise, just across the Atlantic Ocean to Brooklyn.” From England’s South Hampton to New York’s Brooklyn. I’d never done anything like this before. I’ve never been on a boat before. We’re doing everything. We might do some Rose and Jack. We’ll see since it’s going to be winter.”
