When Kelly Wilkinson was brutally killed in April 2021, her three children, who ranged in age from two to nine, suffered indescribable grief. Danielle Carroll, Kelly’s sister, and her husband Rhys took care of the kids right away when Kelly passed away. The extended family of Danielle and Rhys now includes Kelly’s children as well as their five own, making a total of 10.
Despite the challenges of living in a cramped four-bedroom house, the couple showered their kids with love and fostered a safe environment for them. Businesswoman Tamika Smith made a selfless act of compassion when she learned about the circumstances of the Carroll family and Kelly’s kids.
The “I Stand With Kelly” campaign was started by Tamika Carroll, the creator of My Bella Casa and Top 100 Women, and a Carroll family member. She planned to organize the neighborhood to support the Wilkinson kids when they were in need. The much-needed land was kindly supplied by an unidentified donor, and Metricon, a well-known building company, kindly contributed an entire house.
Despite the difficulties the construction industry was experiencing at the time, the dedicated group of builders and volunteers toiled tirelessly for nearly two years to bring the vision of a new house to life. After many hours of labor and dedication, the seven-bedroom home on the outskirts of the Gold Coast was finally completed. The family celebrated the opening of their new house on Tuesday night. The kids were ecstatic since they had spent the previous year watching the house grow from a plain slab of concrete.
Brian Earl Johnston was the spouse of Kelly Wilkinson. Sadly, he is charged with a horrific act of domestic violence that resulted in Kelly’s death. In April 2021, Kelly’s life was abruptly ended when she was shockingly found dead at her Gold Coast home. According to sources, Brian doused her in gasoline and set her ablaze in the garden.
After the incident, Brian was found nearby with severe burns to his hands and airway, and he was accused of killing Kelly. There were Kelly’s three kids at the scene of the alleged incident. They witnessed the horrific deed and as a result, experienced extreme suffering. Wilkinson’s murder accuser Brian Earl Johnston is now being kept in custody as he awaits trial.
