Once she began dating Chase Stokes, Kelsea Ballerini is no longer interested in being social media “friends” with Morgan Evans.
Kelsea Ballerini, 29, has unfollowed Morgan Evans, 37, on Instagram after escalating tensions between the former couple.
The country singer has been busy sharing details of her marriage and divorce from Morgan, and she just announced her relationship with Outer Banks actor Chase Stokes on social media with a beautiful PDA photo.
The telling step of social media removal from Morgan, however, appears to be the final nail in the coffin of a troubled relationship between the two country singers, which began in 2016 and concluded in August 2022 with Kelsea filing for divorce. The separation was finalized the following November.
“This is now public knowledge, therefore I wanted you to hear it directly from me that I am going through a divorce,” she posted on Instagram stories at the time. “This extremely tough decision is the culmination of a journey of love, growth, and effort that has reached its conclusion.”
But, that was not even close to the end of it. Kelsea had baggage to reveal to the world, beginning with her assertion that she never wanted to marry Morgan in the first place.
“I did not want to get married. In February, she told Alex Cooper during a sit-down interview, “I swore I would never get married.”
She questioned how she would ever become involved with the country singer.
“At the same time he’s releasing a song about being blindsided, he’s taking half of the house he didn’t pay for,” she claimed, adding that the divorce was “ugly.” “How was it that I was married to this person for so long and was unaware of this aspect of their personality?”
Meanwhile, Morgan refuted her revelations, claiming that they are “not reality.” “It’s incredibly heartbreaking to see this person, who I spent so much of my life with and who I loved with all my heart, stating things that aren’t true and that leaves out what actually occurred,” he wrote in an Instagram post on February 22.
“She knows I’m not the sort to discuss such matters in public. If this is what she requires to recover, I hope it works. All I ask is that if you visit my sites, you refrain from being cruel. Do not be cruel to Kelsea, and do not be cruel to one another. “Life is too brief.”
