American Rally Driver Ken Block Died In Snowmobile Accident

Tragically, professional rally car driver Ken Block died in a snowmobile accident on Monday afternoon in Wasatch County.

Block was traveling on a steep hill in the Mill Hollow region when the snowmobile overturned and fell on top of him, according to the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office.

Block was alone when the event happened at roughly 2 pm, despite being on a group outing. The State Medical Examiner’s Office will establish the official cause of death.

Park City resident Ken Block had earlier in the day uploaded pictures from his trip to Instagram. The Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office, Utah State Parks, and the U.S. Forest Service attended to the situation.
