In a recent interview with The Los Angeles Times, the younger brother of comedian-turned-actor Chris Rock, Kenny Rock, expressed his opinion on the controversial Oscars 2022 slap.
While reviewing the recent incident at the 94th Academy Awards in which Will Smith struck Chris Rock, Kenny stated that Smith’s apologies did not satisfy him. The 42-year-old questioned the sincerity of Smith’s public apologies to Chris Rock. Kenny proceeded,
“It seemed unreal to me. I believe his publicist and others working on his behalf convinced him to do so.”
Following the live broadcast of the confrontation between Chris Rock and Will Smith, the younger brother of Chris Rock apparently viewed the video online. Kenny stated that the video “eats him up.”
The youngest Rock sibling stated that his initial reaction to the blow was confusion. After witnessing Will Smith rage at his brother, Kenny recognized the gravity of the situation. Initially, Kenny felt the interaction was staged.

Kenneth C. Rock, sometimes known as Kenny Rock, was born on April 16, 1979, in Brooklyn, New York. He is reportedly the youngest child of Julius and Rose Rock. He is the younger brother of Tony and Chris Rock, both of whom are aged 47. (56).
Kenneth Rock’s professional history is unknown, but the younger Rock brother appears to have worked on a number of Hollywood productions.
Supposedly, his debut film and the documentary was a nine-minute video on his brother’s ascent to popularity as a comedian, titled “Who Is Chris Rock?” and released in 1989.
Later, Kenneth Rock starred in the 2014 television film Hope a Brooklyn Story, directed by Wanly Florexile. The native of Brooklyn then portrayed Cousin Paul in the 2016 film Coincident Killer.
