Kerri-Anne Donaldson, a former participant in Britain’s Got Talent, passed away at 38, according to her family. As a member of the supergroup Kings and Queens, she gave a performance in the ITV talent competition in 2014.

Her sister, Cara Donaldson, confirmed her death:

“My beautiful baby sister is no longer with us and I don’t know how to process it.”

Donaldson was described as having a “heart of gold” by fellow member and strictly professional Neil Jones.

“I love you, Kerri, you’re my best friend, we were inseparable, and right now I don’t know how to fill the void,” Cara Donaldson continued. Keep your cool and hug Nan tightly.

The cause of death for Kerri-Anne Donaldson has not been determined. In the eighth season of Britain’s Got Talent, Kings, and Queens made it to the semifinals.

Kai Widdrington, Neil, and Katya Jones were also a part of the ensemble; all three succeeded as professional dancers on Strictly.

Neil Jones described Donaldson as his “friend” and “like a big sister” on Twitter, writing: “Kerri Anne Donaldson – remember that name and please never forget it because it belongs to a woman who loved to dance, create, and perform, she had the cheekiest laugh and a heart of gold.”

Fellow absolute pro-Amy Dowden described herself as “so shocked and sad” after learning of Donaldson’s passing.

“Such a lovely dancer and good person. All of your family and friends are being sent my love. Undoubtedly, heaven has gained an angel. Keep dancing, beautiful,” Dowden advised.

While her brother and fellow former Strictly dancer Kevin Clifton called Donaldson the “loveliest girl,” former Strictly pro-Joanne Clifton called her passing “truly devastating.”

Dance among the angels, Kerri, you gorgeous dancer, you beautiful soul. We’ve known you and been on the dance floor with you pretty much all our lives.

You Need Two How terrible to see this news, said host and former Strictly pro-Janette Manrara. She was such a sweet soul. My thoughts are with all of her friends and family during this difficult time.
