The film was shot at home and depicts a woman giving birth to her child, who is later kidnapped by the father. While most netizens were taken aback, some wondered if the lady in question was Kevin Gates’ wife, Dreka Haynes, and the story depicted the birth of his own child. This is not the case, as the original post’s description indicates that it was published on April 15 with the following note:
“In honor of Black Maternal Health Week, Kendra is sharing her birth video and wisdom gained from this incredible birth experience.”

Kevin Gates, who is he?
Kevin Jerome Gilyard, the 37-year-old rapper, was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He had a difficult life and was imprisoned at the age of 13 for “joyriding” in a stolen automobile as a “passenger.” Kevin made his musical debut in 2007 when he signed with the local label Dead Game Records.
He released two mixtapes under them but was arrested in 2008, effectively ending his career. Gates claimed to have earned a master’s degree in psychology while incarcerated. In 2011, he was released due to his good behavior.
Following his incarceration, he released The Luca Brasi Story, a critically acclaimed mixtape, and signed with Atlantic Records. His most well-known songs are Really Really, 2 Phones, and Broken Love. Kevin Gates married Dreka Haynes in 2015, and they have two children. The singer has yet to comment on the news.
