The majority of the scenes in Don’t Worry, Darling that included Kiki Layne and co-star Ariel Stachel were cut, Kiki Layne recently revealed. Since the movie was scheduled to be released in US theaters on September 23, 2022, Kiki hurried to Instagram to remedy the omission. Kiki Layne, who is best recognized for her parts in The Old Guard, Native Son, and Beale Street Could Talk, claimed on Instagram that her Don’t Worry Darling scenes had been cut. Ariel Stachel, a Tony Award winner most known for his role in The Band’s Visit, was recognized by the speaker.

The caption of the image reads:

The best aspect of #DontWorryDarling was getting to meet @arielstachel, in my opinion. We were largely cut from the movie, but things are going well for us in real life.

In the post’s comments area, Stachel addressed the issue and stated:

“My sweetie. Your talent is magnificent, and you are a queen. Back then, as now, I was thirsty.

The hashtags on the picture, such as “got my boy,” “got my check,” and “everything happens for a reason,” seem to confirm that the two celebrities are dating.

Don’t Worry Darling was cut with Kiki Layne and Ariel Stachel on numerous occasions.

Kiki Layne and Ariel Stachel played Margaret and Ted, a couple from the 1950s desert community of Victory who are more than they appear. Alice, the main character in the movie played by Florence Pugh, is claimed to be affected by Margaret, who is played by Layne. For those not familiar with the actor’s prior work, Kiki Layne recently wrapped up production on Netflix’s The Old Guard 2 starring Charlize Theron and Chiwetel Ejiofor. She later made appearances in movies like Native Son and Coming 2 America and provided the voice for one of the characters in Chip’n Dale: Rescue Rangers.

On the other side, Ariel Stachel has appeared in Zola, Jessica Jones on Netflix, and the upcoming Law & Order: Hate Crimes.

The two have shared some behind-the-scenes images with their fans following the film’s debut, despite Kiki Layne’s claim that her interactions with Stachel were cut from the final product. On his Instagram page, Ariel posted a photo with Kiki Layne taken behind the scenes. He wrote this to praise the actor:

“My favorite part of my experience with Don’t Worry Darling.” I was thirsty as soon as I met this woman since she did such an amazing job.

He also used Instagram to thank Kiki Layne for everything. An excerpt from the note is as follows:

“The globe is now experiencing some truly horrible events, but I am feeling INCREDIBLY grateful to live in a nation where a woman — a woman of color and a black woman — continues to break down barriers and realize all of her dreams,” she said. I feel blessed to be alive in a time when this amazing woman can inspire, push, see, encourage, and go on and on and on.

The movie has finally been released in US theaters despite being dogged by controversy, including fights involving Olivia Wilde, Shia LaBeouf, and Florence Pugh.
