Kit Harington, an English actor, and his wife, Rose Leslie, have announced the birth of their second child together. On The Jimmy Falon Show on February 3, the 36-year-old celebrity stated that his child is “about to get the shock of his life.”
He stated,
“Which means he’s going to get a sibling.”
Harington and Leslie have a two-year-old son. Kit Harington then elaborated on his remarks, mentioning how his mindset changed when the couple became pregnant with their first child together.
He stated,
“I’m terrified to death. For nine months, the guy feels like he’s walking on clouds and dancing over fields of daisies. “However, the reality check is much shorter this time.” You quickly learn to be practical.”

Long before they co-starred in HBO’s Game of Thrones, Kit Harington and Rose Leslie were friends. They began filming for the second season of the show, in which he played Jon Snow and she played Ygritte, in October 2011.
Rose stated in an interview with People Magazine:
“We were friends before we started working on Game of Thrones. Working opposite him was always a pleasure, and the fact that we got along in real life aided our performances.”
According to Harington, the couple fell in love while filming Game of Thrones’ second season in Iceland.
He stated, ”
“The three weeks we spent filming the second season in Iceland. Because the scenery is breathtaking, and the Northern Lights are breathtaking, and I fell in love there. If you’re already attracted to someone and they play your love interest in the show, it’s incredibly easy to fall in love.”
The couple confirmed their relationship when they were seen having dinner together in London in August 2012. They split up for a brief period a year later but reconnected three months later.
At the time, a source told Us Magazine:
“Right now, it’s casual, and they’re having a good time. They haven’t started living together or doing anything else yet.”
After keeping their affair hidden for a few years, Kit Harington and Rose Leslie made their red carpet debut at the Olivier Awards in April 2016. After nearly a year of living together, the couple announced their engagement in September 2017.
They married in Scotland in June 2018 at Kirkton of Rayne church, alongside Game of Thrones co-stars Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, and Emilia Clarke. The couple became parents to a baby boy in February 2021 after announcing their pregnancy in September of the previous year.
