“Kitchen Commando” Is Set To Release On Tubi

Andre Rush, US Army Master Sergeant, and White House chef, will host the next unscripted food series from Kitchen Commando, Studio Ramsay Global, and Fox Alternative Entertainment.

Throughout the episode, the chef will visit various restaurants and help them get back in shape.

According to Fox’s announcement:

KITCHEN COMMANDO, from award-winning chef, restaurateur, and presenter Gordon Ramsay and FOX Alternative Entertainment, the producers of the smash hits “Next Level Chef,” will see former US Army Master Sergeant and White House Chef, Chef Andre Rush, embark on a new mission to save struggling restaurants and reignite their passion for the service industry.

Season 1 of Kitchen Commando will premiere on Tubi on February 12 during Super Bowl LVII.

Chef Andre Rush will visit several restaurants in Washington, DC, to help them improve their operations in the newest unscripted culinary program. The White House chef will seek out restaurateurs who need discipline and could benefit from his inventiveness in order to turn around their businesses in the new series.

The show will have ten episodes, with the chef visiting one restaurant in each episode in just 48 hours. In the season premiere, the Kitchen Commando team will visit a crab-themed restaurant that was previously an online hit.

In the Kitchen Commando trailer, Gordon Ramsay describes chef Andre Rush as a personal friend, an exceptional chef who has served in the US army. He went on to say that “you don’t get much higher than that” in terms of standards.

He stated, ”

“He also has the biggest arms I’ve ever seen in the culinary world.”

According to the Kitchen Commando, he has “seen some action” in Iraq and has served four presidents. In the new program, he’s about to embark on his “toughest task” yet: saving struggling businesses across America. In the trailer, he says that “boot camp” is about to begin.

Chef Andre Rush is shown instructing restauranteurs in pushups and providing harsh love and inspiration as needed. Gordon Ramsay stated in a press release that he had the opportunity to spend time with Chef Rush and that his passion for the culinary industry, as well as his story, inspires any chef.

Meet chef Andre Rush

The White House celebrity chef and veteran is a former US Army master sergeant. He was a member of the United States Culinary Arts Team, for which he received 150 medals and prizes. The “strongest chef” enlisted as a reserve and was called up in July 1993, serving at Fort Stewart, 503 Infantry in Casey, Korea, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Three years later, until 1999, he was the Joint and Vice Chief of Staff for eight general officers and four Army Chiefs of Staff. Rush holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from TUI, a Culinary Stafford University associate’s degree, and a Hotel Restaurant Management certificate from Central Texas. He will now appear on Tubi during Super Bowl LVII at 6:30 p.m. ET in Kitchen Commando.
