Until his passing in 2015, Toombs and Piper were wed from 1982 to that year. Before passing died in his sleep in July at the age of 61 in his Hollywood, California vacation home, her husband had battled cancer, electrocution, an aeroplane mishap, and numerous car accidents. The death certificate states that pulmonary embolism and hypertension both contributed to his cardiac arrest, which led to his demise.
