Colorado-born With MTV’s Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, Kristin Cavallari made her reality TV debut in 2004. The program follows Lauren Conrad and the other affluent teenagers in her Laguna Beach High School social group.
From there, Kristin joined rival and franchise star Lauren Conrad in the Laguna Beach spin-off, The Hills. She agreed to be a part of the show for at least two more seasons, but MTV canceled it in 2010.
A little less than Lauren Conrad’s $125,000 and Audrina Patridge’s $100,000 per episode of The Hills, Kristin Cavallari reportedly made $90,000 in 2009.
Additionally, Kristin and her co-stars received payments of $20,000 to $25,000 for each appearance at events they were invited to.
All of Kristin’s previous co-stars concurred that she was a natural for reality TV. Even at the 2006 Teen Choice Awards, she was nominated for a TV Choice Reality Star (Female) Award for Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, and again in 2010 for The Hills.

Later attempts at reality television by Kristin weren’t very successful. She was able to diversify her resume, though. She relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting, and she made her acting debut in a Veronica Mars episode.
The 31-year-old has additionally made cameos on Cane, Adventures in Hollyhood, and CSI: NY. In the 2006 horror film Fingerprints, she costarred with Josh Henderson in her debut main role.
In the straight-to-DVD film Spring Breakdown, starring Amy Poehler, Kristin played a supporting role.
She also acted in a few independent films, but none of them earned positive reviews.
She built her empire of businesses.
Like other reality stars, Kristin has launched a number of successful businesses using her notoriety as a springboard. She began by partnering with Chinese Laundry to launch her limited-edition shoe line.

After momentarily breaking off their engagement, they reconciled and welcomed Camden Jack into the world on August 8, 2012. On June 7, 2013, they exchanged vows in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jaxon Wyatt Cutler, their second child, was born on May 7, 2014, and Saylor James Cutler, their daughter, was born on November 23, 2015.
