Sajal commented on social media, noting that it’s regrettable that their nation is turning ugly and morally reprehensible.
Actress Kubra issued a warning to Adil for publishing a phony video on Instagram and gave him three days to provide evidence. She threatened to file a defamation lawsuit against him if he did not withdraw his statement and issue a formal apology.
How Did the Kubra Khan Scandal Come About?
Actress Kubra Khan is embroiled in a scandal following accusations made against her by YouTuber Adil Raja.
Raja, who on Twitter defines himself as a geopolitical analyst and rights activist, published a video on December 31 in which he made a number of generalizations about the former high brass of the army.
Four “top models and actresses” allegedly socialized with politicians and former authorities, according to one claim. Other than asserting that information was provided to him through references, he was unable to provide evidence to support his allegations.
The initials of the four ladies about whom Adil was making claims were also mentioned: MK, MH, SA, and KK or AK. When he insisted that he had said AK in response to Khan’s tweet, the uncertainty about the prior set of initials was deepened.
Following a video in which he alleged that four top models and actresses had illegal connections with previous top generals, actor Kubra Khan vowed to sue YouTuber Adil Raja for slander.
Khan claimed on Instagram and Twitter that she first kept quiet because she did not want a fictitious video to take over her life, but she does not want arbitrary people accusing her.
Raja asserted on Twitter that he had not slandered Khan and provided evidence of this by criticizing the unrestrained speculating that followed the release of his film. He claimed that by specifically mentioning him in her post, she was defaming him.
Mehwish Hayat and Sajal Aly sent statements criticizing unfounded accusations and character assassination in the midst of widespread social media speculation regarding the identity of the performers he indicated given the initials. However, neither actor specifically mentioned Raja.
Kubra Khan, a Pakistani television actress, filed a lawsuit against Major Adil Farooq Raja at Sindh High Court on Thursday for spreading false information.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) have been ordered by the Sindh High Court to restrict any social media posts directed towards Mehwish Hayat, Kubra Khan, Mahira Khan, and Sajal Aly.
She added that the falsified and fraudulent accusations had damaged her reputation and dignity. Later, Adil Farooq published a different explanatory video and changed his mind.
They added that although the FIA and PTA had been contacted to have the offensive material removed, YouTube had not yet been subject to any legal action. The PTA and the FIA were instructed by the SHC to present an explanation during the subsequent hearing.
