Is Kubrat Pulev Married? Relationship

Personal Life, Wife, Children, and Kubrat Controversy Since 2006, Pulev Kubrat has been wed to Andrea, a well-known singer from Bulgaria whose true name is Teodora Rumenova Andreeva.

Regretfully, they parted ways in July 2019, the month the fighter obtained his American boxing license. Since then, Pulev hasn’t discussed his personal life much.

After Kubrat beat Bogdan Dinu in a brawl, the Costa Mesa kiss gate incident happened. He planted a firm kiss on reporter Jennifer Ravalo’s lips during a post-victory interview.

Because of that occurrence, his license was suspended by the California State Athletic Commission. The tale was far from done, as evidenced by Tervel, the boxer’s younger brother, tweeting a video of reporter Jennifer Ravalo dancing provocatively with a member of his brother’s entourage later on.

The reporter said on March 28, 2019, that she would sue the boxer if the video was released without her consent.

It’s important to note that Pulev’s ex-girlfriend Andrea openly supported him and called the charges against him absurd.

On July 24, 2019, the professional boxer’s boxing license was renewed following the conclusion of his training in sexual harassment prevention. He was warned that acting inappropriately again would result in the revocation of his license.

How did Kubrat Pulev start his Professional Career?

In September 2009, the then 28-year-old Pulev started his professional career. He competed four times and won each time.

In March 2012, Pulev and Alexander Dimitrenko were slated to square off for the vacant European Heavyweight Championship held by the EBU.

Pulev overcame Alexander Dimitrenko even though he weighed 12 pounds less than the other combatant. In the eleventh round, Pulev submitted Alexander, earning the victory via professional knockout (KO).

After falling to world champion Wladimir Klitschko in the fifth round, he took an 11-month hiatus from the ring.

November saw him take on former heavyweight champion Samuel Peter in his next match. Samuel Peter was forced to leave the fight after just three rounds due to a shoulder ailment.

In April 2017, Pulev faced Kevin Johnson in defense of his WBA Intercontinental heavyweight championship. To the dismay of the crowd, Pulev had to postpone his bout with Anthony Joshua due to the sale of over 70,000 tickets. This resulted from a shoulder injury sustained while exercising.

The IBF scheduled a bout between Dillian Whyte and Pulev after Dominic Breazeale declined to take on the challenger. Regretfully, Whyte left the battle when the conditions were settled in June 2018.

Pulev was opposed by American boxer Jarrell Miller, who was ranked as the next challenger. The two boxing organizations’ July talks came to an end without an agreement.

In October 2018, Pulev fought Hughie Fury, Tyson Fury’s cousin, in Sofia the following month. In the end, Pulev won by unanimous decision against Fury, and in December 2018, Pulev and Top Rank agreed to a multi-year contract.

Over his professional boxing career, Kubrat has built himself a massive reputation, despite his inability to defend it.
