The Wallabies’ star, Kurtley Beale, has been imprisoned and is likely to be charged with sexual assault.
Rugby union player Kurtley Beale has been arrested about an alleged sexual assault on a woman that took place in a public restroom in Sydney’s eastern suburbs last year.
Despite having a short time with the Melbourne Rebels, Mr. Beale has spent most of his career with the NSW Waratahs. In 2020, he committed to a two-year deal with Racing 92. He left the Waratahs after his contract was up.
In preparation for the Rugby World Cup in September, Beale was one of 44 players picked earlier this month for a four-day Wallabies camp on the Gold Coast. He has played more than 90 games for the Wallabies throughout a career spanning more than a decade.

Kurtley Beale is being questioned at Sydney’s Waverley Police Station while he is incarcerated.
He was detained on Friday in the eastern Sydney suburb of Kingsford while he was driving. Beale and his wife Maddie welcomed the birth of their first child only a few weeks before the alleged attack. The infant was given the name Kurtley James Windon Beale in honor of the winger.
Only a few days had passed since Eddie Jones was anointed the new Wallabies coach before the arrest. Beale was also included in the Wallabies’ extended World Cup training squad.

The inquiry was taken over by investigators from the Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command, according to the police, who also created Strike Force Titheradge.
Arrested For Sexual Assault: Kurtley Beale
A woman who was reportedly sexually assaulted by Wallabies player Kurtley Beale at a Bondi bar has been detained.
The 28-year-old lady was reportedly attacked on December 17 in the bathrooms of the Beach Road Hotel. According to a Police statement, she then reported the incident to police in the Tweed/Byron Bay region. The new father was transported to the Waverley Police Station after being detained. The inquiry is still being conducted.
According to RA, Kurtley Beale’s condition is known to Rugby Australia, the NSW Waratahs, and the Rugby Union Players Association (RUPA). They decided to refrain from further comment since they recognize that it is a police case and that no charges have been brought.

Beale had previously received a $40,000 punishment and an indefinite suspension for hitting teammates Gareth Delve and Cooper Vuna of the Melbourne Rebels on the team bus after a Super Rugby match in South Africa.

In the last ten years, Kurtley Beale has been one of the most well-known Australian rugby players. He debuted for the Wallabies in 2009 and has more than 90 Test appearances to his credit.
He was in the 2014 Super Rugby championship-winning Waratahs team and has played for Australia in three Rugby World Cups (2011, 2015, and 2019). When he departed Super Rugby to join Racing 92 in France following the 2019 season, it looked that his international career was ended.
