Kyla Cindy Lapointe was a young lady with a promising future. She attended Bathurst High School after graduating, and her birthplace is Bathurst, New Brunswick. After that, she relocated to Moncton, New Brunswick, where she settled down and concentrated on her work. Cindy’s relatives and friends also characterized her as a loving, compassionate, and kind individual who never failed to put a smile on her face.
She loved to travel, see new places, and spend time with her loved ones. She owned a cat named Luna as a pet and had a strong affinity for animals. Kyla Cindy Lapointe’s life was sadly taken on July 11, 2023, by a senseless act of violence. She was repeatedly stabbed on Belleview Avenue in Moncton at around 2:45 in the morning following a disturbance call, according to the New Brunswick RCMP.
After being taken to the hospital quickly, she passed away from her wounds. Three suspects in the murder were later detained by the RCMP: Dana Livingston Mundell, 49, Megan Ethel Marten, 38, and Dylan Alexander Jackson, 28. On the same day, they appeared in court and were charged with second-degree murder. The inquiry is still underway, and the attack’s motivation is still a mystery.
