Lance Armstrong, a former professional cyclist from the United States, has married his longtime girlfriend Anna Hansen.
On August 9, the 50-year-old athlete posted a series of photos from his D-Day with Hansen and his children to Instagram. The actor referred to it as the “Best. Day. Ever.” He thanked his long-term partner and their children. In a lengthy caption, Armstrong expressed his feelings about getting married:
“It was a night of laughter and happy tears. Anna, you’ve been my rock for the last 14 years, and I can assure you that I couldn’t have done it without you. I am so pleased with the relationship we have developed – it took some effort on our part, and I am so glad we did. I adore you and will be there for you and our family at all times.”
Lance Armstrong claimed that his friend “Reverend” Chadbourne Mountain performed their ceremony, and Elizabeth Kreutz took the photos. In the photos, Hansen is wearing a sleeveless embroidered white gown. Her look was completed with minimal makeup and blue earrings.
In contrast, Lance Armstrong was dressed in a black suit with a blue tie and gray shoes. The lovely event was held at Château La Coste, a sprawling park in France with sculptures, paintings, and an organic vineyard.

Anna Hansen is 41 years old, nine years younger than Armstrong, who was born in 1971 and is now 50 years old. Hansen stated on her website that she created virtual videos for students who were unable to attend classes in person. Lance Armstrong and Anna started dating in 2008 and got engaged in May 2017 in Lake Austin, Texas, after dating for nearly ten years. The pair also ran into problems when the former cyclist admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs.
An investigation by the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) in 2012 revealed that the athlete had used pharmaceuticals throughout his professional career. Armstrong was stripped of all of his trophies and accolades after his confession, and he was banned from the sport for life. Lance and Anna have two children: Max, 13, and Olivia Marie, 11 years old.
Armstrong is also the father of three children from his first marriage to Kristin Richard, Luke, 22, Isabelle, 20, and Grace, 20. Lance had several romantic relationships prior to Hansen. He dated Ashley Olsen and Kate Hudson and was engaged to Sheryl Crow from 2005 to 2006.
