Former American professional cyclist Lance Armstrong has married his longtime lover Anna Hansen. On August 9, the 50-year-old athlete posted a series of images from his D-Day with Hansen and his children to Instagram. The actor described the day as “The Greatest Day Ever” and thanked his long-term partner and their children.
Armstrong expressed his emotions regarding marriage in a lengthy caption.
“The night was full of laughter and joyful tears. Anna, you have been my rock for the past fourteen years, and let me be clear: I could not have succeeded without you. I am really delighted with the friendship we have cultivated; it required effort on both of our parts, and I am so glad we did. I will always love you and be there for you and our family.”
Elizabeth Kreutz snapped the photographs, according to Lance Armstrong, who stated that his “Reverend” friend Chadbourne Mountain officiated the wedding. Hansen wears a white, sleeveless, embroidered gown in the photographs.
Her look was completed with little makeup and blue earrings. On the other side, Lance Armstrong wore a black suit with a blue tie and gray shoes. The beautiful event took place in Chateau La Coste, France, a vast park with sculptures, paintings, and an organic vineyard.

Anna Hansen is 41 years old, nine years older than Armstrong, who was born in 1971 and is 50 years old today. Mrs. Hansen Armstrong is a yoga instructor by profession and a native of Colorado.
Move with Anna is a YouTube channel featuring instructional yoga videos that were created by Anna during the coronavirus pandemic. Hansen stated on her website that she developed virtual movies for individuals who were physically unable to attend classes.
Lance Armstrong and Anna began dating in 2008 and became engaged in Lake Austin, Texas, in May 2017. When the former cyclist admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs, the couple also confronted complications.
In 2012, an investigation by the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) showed that the athlete had utilized medicines throughout his professional career.
Armstrong was stripped of all of his prizes and honors and banned from the sport for life after his confession. Lance and Anna have two children: Max, 13 years old, and Olivia Marie, 11 years old.
Armstrong is also the father of Luke, 22, Isabelle, and Grace, both aged 20, from his 1998-2003 marriage to Kristin Richard. Lance had many romantic relationships before meeting Hansen.
He had relationships with Ashley Olsen and Kate Hudson, and from 2005 to 2006 he was engaged to Sheryl Crow.
