Laura Deibel | Husband Tim Allen | Married Life

Laura Deibel

In addition to being the former wife of Tim Allen, the actor from Toy Story and The Last Man Standing, Laura Deibel is a former founder of charitable organizations and sales manager.

Between the years of the 1980s and the late 1990s, Deibel and Allen were together and had a daughter. To many, their connection seemed to be final. Despite this, Laura and the People’s Choice Award winner would split up for several reasons.

Laura Deibel, a World War II veteran’s daughter, was born in Omena, Michigan, on November 12, 1956. Her parents are Gibert and Annette. Gilbert, Deibel’s late father, was a Saginaw, Michigan native who flew B24 bombers for the 5th Army Air Force in the Western Pacific Theater during World War II.

After serving as a 1st Lieutenant in the army, Laura’s father went on to practice law in the Saginaw region as a member of Cook, Nash, and Deibel.

Annette Deibel, the mother of AD Deibel, was formerly a director of the nonprofit Leelanau Conservancy, which opposed the development of the Omena Point region. Gilbert and Annette are the parents of three girls, including Laura, the Emmy nominee’s ex-wife. Roxanne Deibel and Andrea Muladore are her sisters.

It is said that she was raised in Saginaw, Michigan.

Laura Deibel’s marriage and separation from her now ex-husband, Tim Allen, occurred in college.

Tim and Deibel met in college. The college friend began dating shortly after and eventually tied the knot in 1984. They had a 15-year marriage until calling it quits in 1999. Four years after their separation, the former couple finalized their divorce.

In 1989, Katherine Allen was born into Laura and her ex-husband Allen’s family.

Laura, who was born in Michigan, requested a divorce from Allen in 1999 and filed for a formal separation in Los Angeles Superior Court. Irreconcilable conflicts were Deibel’s main justification.

Following the divorce, the former couple was granted joint custody of their daughter Katherine, who was 13 at the time.

The Causes of Allen and Deibel’s Divorce

Tim’s demanding schedule and lack of family time were cited as contributing factors to the breakdown of his marriage to Laura. In the late 1990s, Allen personally attested to this to The Detroit News.

The father of two claimed that he “let his family slide” since he was focusing so much of his time on the magazine and his job. According to rumors, The 3 Geezersactor worked Monday through Friday and even went out for cocktails with buddies on the weekends. In actuality, Allen had also become addicted to alcohol at the same time, which forced him to check himself into a recovery facility.

However, Deibel also got bogged down with taking care of her and Allen’s child and running the household.

Furthermore, according to some sources, Allen occasionally used to irritate Laura, his ex-wife. Rob Cowin, the surreal humorist’s lifelong friend and business partner, and his daughter’s godfather, once revealed Allen would occasionally return home unexpectedly and “drive [Deibel] crazy.”

However, as the actor gained notoriety, Deibel, who had stood by her ex-husband during his career as an actor, took a backseat.

Laura Deibel Was Allegedly Cheated on by Allen

It appears that throughout their marriage, Allen cheated on Laura several times as well. In addition, the former couple’s arguments over little to no major matters contributed to their breakup. For example, Tim used to be emphatic that they visit a Ferrari factory, while Laura would push for a vacation to Europe. This would cause arguments between the pair.

In addition, they would dispute over whether or not to have children—the comic supposedly wanted more, while Laura didn’t. Their argument became increasingly heated over time, and ultimately they broke up.

Allen acknowledged he was drinking too much and that he was not connecting with Laura in an interview with Parade in 2011. To quote him,

“I cherish the times I spend with my youngest daughter these days because I was away from home a lot during my first marriage. Even though having a tea party on the ground is not my thing, I’ll still do it because it’s an experience that I will never forget.

After the Home Improvement season finale, AD Allen’s hectic schedule gradually began to calm down. Unfortunately, by then, his marriage to Deibel had already broken down.

Many of Laura Deibel and Tim Allen’s friends and family were shocked by their divorce.

One of the fans’ favorite couples was Laura Deibel and Tim Allen. Because of this, when word spread that the couple’s marriage had ended, all of their followers were taken aback. In particular, Deibel’s support of her husband during his 28-month prison sentence following his cocaine bust led many to assume that the couple was destined for eternal bliss.

The decision stunned not just the fans but also the friends and relatives of the ex-couple. Tim’s mother said that their breakup caused sadness for everyone in their vicinity. Many of Allen’s pals, however, thought Laura and the Toy Story star were soulmates.

What Is Deibel’s Current Job?

There’s hardly much about Deibel’s present career that needs explanation. She did, however, reportedly hold the position of sales manager for indoor landscaping back in 1982. Allen, her ex-husband, was charging $50 a show to perform at Kutlenios’s club at the time.

Deibel used to assist Allen in managing a nonprofit organization they jointly formed when they were still married. In addition, she served as CEO of Tim Allen Signature Tools, the business owned by her ex-husband.

Tim Allen and Laura’s Post-Divorce Lives: Is Deibel Married?

In 2006, around seven years following the dissolution of his first marriage to Laura, Allen wed Jane Hajduk. Elizabeth, the Colorado native’s second child, was welcomed into the world three years later by Allen and his now-wife Hajduk.

Jane and Tim were dating for about five years before getting married. On October 7, 2006, they were married in a modest outdoor ceremony in Grand Lake, Colorado.

Laura’s ex-husband claimed he had changed from his first marriage to his current one, saying he is a different man with Hajduk, his second wife. And it seems that this improved his courtship with Jane. With Hajduk, Allen claims to be considerably more present.

Where Is Laura Deibel in Her Marital Life Right Now?

According to Laura’s Facebook page, which remained up until November 2018, she lives in Sherman Oaks, California. But as of right now, nobody knows for sure where she is.

The ambiguity surrounding her marital aspects is also appealing. Although Allen appears content with his present spouse, Jane, it is unknown if Deibel has found another husband.

Allen, Laura Deibel’s ex-husband, is one of the wealthiest actors; is Deibel also wealthy?

With his net worth, Tim Allen, Laura’s ex-partner, is undoubtedly among the wealthiest actors in Hollywood. The actor claims to be well over $100 million in wealth. That shouldn’t be shocking given his nearly 50-year career, which has included two successful TV series and an incredible number of highly successful box office films.

Deibel’s ex was earning over $4 million annually from ABC’s Last Man Standing as early as the late 2010s. The now 69-year-old also receives income from sporadic Disney ventures like the Toy Story series.

However, no corroborating evidence has ever been presented concerning Laura Deibel, Tim’s first wife. Similar to her present-day personal and professional affairs, everyone can speculate about Deibel’s inner financial worth.
