Prior to coming out as transgender, Hubbard competed at the junior record level in 1998, lifting a total of 300Kg. Hubbard had spoken about the truth of her life, which many have mistakenly labeled as one of the greatest myths. She explained that it was all a misunderstanding that she had created for herself before transitioning to female.
